Come hoist a pint with members of Refresh Austin and others tonight to celebrate the arrival of Spring Break for Geeks, South by South West Interactive. The weather may have turned colder, but it’s March in Austin. In two day’s it will be sunny enough to give people sunburns.

First run at a schedule for SXSW

My first run for a SXSW Interactive schedule is done. This is the wide-net casting, and it’s gonna be narrowed down at least twice more. For now, take a gander over at sched.org.

It’s one weekf to go to SXSW Interactive. Are you ready? I’m not. No way, no how. There’s still a few things to finish up. I’m excited and looking forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting as many of the new ones as possible.

Since my last blog entry, I picked up a fill-time contract that’s just now wrapping up, I’m prepping for a three-week mission for the Navy, and I was confirmed as a speaker for SXSW Interactive. That’s what I call a pretty nice start to the year. See you in a few weeks!

SXSW Day one bits

Friday night was a great time. 45 minutes to get my badge = bad. Seeing friends again = good. Meeting new friendly people = good. The goods outweighed the bad without question.
