Registration is now open for the 2008 accessible technology conference, held May 6 and 7 at St. Edwards University in Austin, TX.
I’m proud to take part in this annual training conference, produced by Knowbility. The conference is for anyone involved in IT, particularly the Web, and who wants to help make the Web a better place for all people.
World-renowned accessibility experts lead the classes, and yes, there are even hands-on courses offered (mine is in this category, more info on that to come). From the basics to the bug-on-the-windshield leading edge, Access U is where you can get your noggin wrapped around the resources and skills you might need to enhance your website so it can reach as many people as possible. The Bonus Prize comes on May 8th, when Derek Featherstone is planning a post-conference session, Real World Accessibility for AJAX and Web Apps.
More information, course descriptions, schedules and registration details are available on Knowbility’s Access U site. I hope we can see you there.
